On the evening of March 20, the Guangdong Public Diplomacy Association held a Spring Tea Reception in Guangzhou. Over 230 guests, including 56 consul generals and representatives of foreign embassies and consulates in Guangzhou, as well as the presidents of some prefecture-level cities and districts' Public Diplomacy Associations, and representatives from various sectors, gathered together to foster friendship, seek cooperation, and discuss the future. Lin Keqing, chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and president of the Guangdong Public Diplomacy Association, attended the event and delivered a speech.

During the cultural performance segment, Guangdong Song and Dance Theatre, Guangdong Experimental Middle School, South China Agricultural University, and Guangzhou Acrobatic Art Theatre presented high-quality art programs, including a beautiful performance by our school's international students titled "Beautiful China" as the only representative program from a Guangzhou-based university. The students' lively singing and dancing brought the event to a climax, earning enthusiastic applause and cheers. The international students who performed not only had many talents but also came from countries along the Silk Road. The program combined Chinese ethnic music and dance, singing praises for the magnificent scenery of the Chinese land, marveling at the country's changing times, expressing unbounded hopes for a bright future, and expressing the students' love for Chinese culture. The program was guided by professional and meticulous teachers from the International Education Institute, and the participating students overcame the pressure of academic studies and experiments to perfect their performance, presenting an outstanding show and earning a round of applause. The program also achieved excellent results in the 2023 "Charming Guangdong Helps Me Realize My Dream" Gala for foreign students in Guangdong.

Vice Chairmen Xu Ruisheng, Huang Wu, Zhang Jiaji, Li Xin, Secretary-General of the Provincial CPPCC and Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Public Diplomacy Association Chen Wenming, heads of relevant provincial departments, leaders of the provincial CPPCC and heads of the special committees, some representatives of foreign multinational enterprises and business associations in Guangzhou and members of the Guangdong Public Diplomacy Association attended the activity.
