Jian-xin Chen,Male,Born in Dec 7th, 1967, Hunan province, Ph.D.in Natural medicinal chemistry, Professor. Member of Chinese Pharmaceutical Society, Vice Chairman of Guangdong Society for Mass Spectrometry. 

He received his Ph.D Degree in 2010 at College of Pharmacy, Jinan University (Guangzhou). During Sept. 2013 to Sept. 2014, he had been studied T cell immune induced by influenza virus infection at Prof. Weisan Chen’s lab, La Trobe University, Australia. He received professor position at South China Agricultural University in 2011. 

Since 2004, Jian-xin Chen has been doing his research in the development of antivirals. His research is currently focusing on discovery of novel antiviral compounds from traditional Chinese medicines and natural products against influenza viruses and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome viruses (PRRSV). His representative contribution is to discover the antiviral effect against influenza viruses infection of saikosaponin a and involved mechanismes. He has published more than 40 SCI papers including Oncotarget and JMC, totally been cited for more than 300 times. He had ever won the second prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress Award in 2005 and the first prize of Guangdong Scientific and Technological Progress Award in 2015 on account of contributions to the development of novel veterinary pharmaceutics.
