Pan Qing: Female, born in 1969, Ph.D., professor, doctoral tutor.

Research direction: Aquatic animal nutrition and feed science. Conducted systematic research work on tilapia nutrition and feed, including tilapia nutrition needs, nutrition and physiology and biochemistry, nutrition and immunity, feed additive application technology, feed material resources development and utilization, etc., while taking into account other aquatic economic animals. The research results enrich the theory of fish nutrition in China, and provide a theoretical basis for the application of feed ingredients and feed formula optimization in production, which is conducive to reducing costs and increasing efficiency of production enterprises and promoting harmonious coexistence and development of economy, society and environment.

He has undertaken 19 projects including the State, Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City, Zhanjiang City, and International Cooperation, published 27 research papers by the first author and correspondent author, and trained 33 masters and doctoral students.


Awards:

In 2005, he won the Multi-Education Award;

In 2006, he won the third prize of Zhanjiang Science and Technology Progress Award;

In 2013, the joint instruction undergraduate students won the first prize of the national university student industry joint research activity;

In 2015, he was awarded the title of “Top Ten Graduate Tutor” by South China Agricultural University;

Research assistant at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1997;

In 2005, he was selected to participate in the training of the Food Safety Project of the United Nations Training and Research Agency in Hiroshima, Japan;

In 2007, he was elected by the China Scholarship Council to send a US visiting scholar;

In 2015, he was elected as a visiting scholar by the China Scholarship Council-Guangdong Province.

At the invitation of many Chinese and English academic journals at home and abroad as reviewers;

Member of the Aquaculture Animal Nutrition and Feed Committee of the Chinese Fisheries Society.
