Chen Xiao, male, Ph.D., associate professor, supervisor of master's degree. Born in Shangrao, Jiangxi in 1979. Ph.D. in marine biology, Xiamen University, postdoctoral fellow, fisheries science, Ocean University of China. In the field of marine fish research, the research focuses on the phylogeny and population genetics of the cartilaginous fish, and the ecology of coral reef fish. Presided over 2 national funds. Participate in the preparation of 2 volumes of fish monograph.

Participated in the compilation of "Southern Fujian fish illustrated" won the National Oceanic Administration excellent book award.
