Qin Qiwei
Personal Profile.
M, Ph.D., Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor, Dean of Ocean Institute, National Modern Marine Fish Industry Technology System, Virus Disease Prevention and Control Post Scientist. He is a recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, a scholar of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a recipient of a special government subsidy from the State Council, a national candidate of the New Century One Million Project, a member of the Fifth National Outstanding Science and Technology Worker, a director of the China Marine Lakes and Marshes Society, and a vice-chairman of the Professional Committee on Fish Diseases of the China Fisheries Society. He has been engaged in long-term scientific research and teaching in marine microbiology and aquatic conservation at a number of research institutions and universities at home and abroad, including the School of Oceanography, University of Wales, Japan National Aquaculture Research Institute, Tokyo Ocean University, National University of Singapore, Sun Yat-sen University, Institute of Oceanography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, etc. In recent years, he has achieved a series of innovative research results in marine molecular virology, fish immunology, etc.
