At 10:00 a.m. on November 5, 2019, Professor Harindar P.S. Makkar, expert of international development of animal husbandry,adjunct professor at Hohenheim University in Germany, and visiting professor at Nanjing Agricultural University in China, attended the 14thAnimal Science Lecture in 2019 for academic exchanges with teachers and students. First of all, Deputy Dean Wu Yinbao extended a warm welcome to Professor Harindar P.S. Makkar for his visit and academic exchanges. Subsequently, Professor Harindar P.S. Makkar made an academic report entitled Changing livestock landscape and technological innovations for sustainable animal production, which mainly elaborated from four aspects: the changing global livestock landscape, the global breeding program, the relationship between resource utilization and the environment, and technological innovation.What is more, he introducedthe intelligent and green technology and its challenges, etc.
