Professor Sung Woo Kim Came to Our College for Academic Exchange

On the morning of October 11, 2017, Sung Woo Kim,a professor at North Carolina State University, came to the Animal Science Lecture of our College  for academic exchange with our faculty and students.

Professor Sung Woo Kim gave an academic report entitled Importance of understanding fetal and mammary growth in sow nutrition. Professor Kim introduced his research group's long-term commitment to lactating sows / lactating sows. In this report, Professor Kim shared a part of his team research with the research results of sow milk production and the growth rate of lactating sow mammary glands as entry points. Professor Kim mentioned that growth rate of sow’s nipple differs during pregnancy, lactation and weaning Weaning period, and sow nutrition intake also affects the growth rate of lactating sow mammary glands and so on.
At the end of the lecture, Professor Kim warmly interacted with teachers and students. Professor Kim encouraged everyone to establish a clear career goal as soon as possible, find their own way to achieve their personal goals, focus on teamwork, balance work with rest, and enjoy growth and change.
