On October 8th, Dr. Usama Mohamed Ghazy, director of the Institute of Sericultural Research in Egypt, and his colleague, Dr. Tahia Azooz Fouad, visited the Asia Pacific Sericulture Training Center in our university. Associate professor Liu Jiping on behalf of Department of Sericulture received the guests, accompanied them to visit the sericulture infrastructure and laboratories of the Asia Pacific Sericulture Training Center, and introduced the research progress and research direction of our project group to them.
During this period, Liu Jiping also briefed the guests on China's "The Belt and Road" construction and development of Southern China sericulture industry, the status of the Asia Pacific Sericulture Training Center of our university and the latest research achievements and international exchanges; at the same time, he extended his sincere hope that both sides can develop further cooperation in the study of sericulture industry.
