University of Magdalena is a public Higher Education Institution, Accredited for High Quality by the Ministry of National Education, located in the Caribbean port city of Santa Marta, Colombia. The University has a strong scientific focus on the areas of marine sciences; agronomic engineering; life sciences; and social sciences, specifically Anthropology and Film. Its Business and Economic Science School holds an international accreditation provided by the Education Quality Acreditation Agency-EQUAA and students from the former and from the Schools of Engineering and Health Sciences can access international double degree agreements with universities in Portugal, France, Italy and Belgium.
